Health & Safety Inductions
- are a vital part of OH&S "Duty of Care" or "Obligation"
- protect your personnel and visitors
- are required by Law in most Australian States & Territories
All employees should complete the company's Workplace Safety
Inductions Course before they commence work with the company. This course
should be designed to give the employee a good understanding of
the company's occupational health and safety policy.
In most industries the initial workplace induction training
should only take 1 to 1½ hrs and should include a safety handbook
for the employee.
If the employee's position involves potential risk or hazard
procedures, then further specialist safety training should be provided
to the employee.
